July 23, 2010 Dear Winnfield Tiger, The “W” Club here at Winnfield Senior High
School has been a tremendous success since its inception. We want to thank those of you that have joined and continue to participate.
We look forward to its continued growth each year. The “W” Club contributions have allowed
us to purchase audio and video equipment, practice equipment, paint our football stadium, and this year, will help us in purchasing
new head sets and a new lawnmower for the upkeep of our fields. Winnfield Senior High School has established
itself throughout the years as an excellent high school with excellent football teams. We want to show support, recognize,
and promote the proud tradition of Winnfield football and those who have contributed to it. Through the
“W” club we want to provide support to projects that will help improve our program, facilities, and equipment. Anyone who is a current or former administrator,
coach, player, manager/trainer, or ardent supporter is eligible for membership. In other words, it is those whom have put
in “blood, sweat, and tears” into making this program successful. As you know, to maintain a first class program requires hard work, dedication, and financial support.
We are asking for an annual donation of $50.00 for “W” club membership. If you feel
inclined to donate a greater amount than this, it is more than welcome. As a reminder, these donations
are tax deductible. Please specify
name so that your membership can be recognized by name or “anonymous” on the www.winnfieldtigerfootball.com
website and in the program at home football games. At our first home game against Jonesboro-Hodge on Friday,
September 3, 2010, all “W” club members will be provided dinner by our booster club prior to the game and recognized
on the track at halftime of the game. When returning your membership, please indicate if you will be in
attendance and eat the meal provided. You may send your membership donation in the enclosed self-addressed stamped envelope or through credit card or Paypal
on the link at www.winnfieldtigerfootball.com and specify that the donation is for the Winnfield Tiger “W”
Club. If there are any questions, you may contact Coach Andy Pyles or Dr. Jane Griffin at 318-628-3506
or email Coach Pyles at apyles@winnpsb.org. You may also inquire at www.winnfieldtigerfootball.com, a great website produced
by former tiger Eddie Jenkins that makes for great reading. Please respond by August 30, 2010. Thank you for all the support already given
to our program through your time and finances. We are excited about the 2010 season as we continue to strive
to uphold that great Winnfield Tiger tradition. Sincerely, Coach Andy
Pyles Athletic Director/
Head Football Coach, Winnfield Senior High School
2010 "W" Club
Coach Andy Pyles, Athletic Director/Head Football Coach at Winnfield Senior High School is announcing the renewal of 2010
"W" Club memberships. The purpose of the "W" Club is to support projects that will improve the football
facilities, equipment and overall program. Projects supported by the "W" Club will be regularly announced
and acknowledged on the winnfieldtigerfootball.com web site. What are the membership categories?: There are numerous membership categories, including:
player, coach, manager/trainer, administrator
supporter
Persons may join on behalf of themselves,
in honor of another person or in memory of another person. In any case, when application
for membership is submitted the applicant is asked to supply their name (if they are joining in their name) or the name of
the person they or honoring or memorializing (if they are joining in behalf of someone else) or the person may become an anonymous
member.
How much are the annual dues?: An annual membership donation
is $50. This membership will be recognized on the winnfieldtigerfootball.com web site as well as in
the game programs for the Winnfield Tiger football team. Of course, multiple memberships are encouraged and that would
be especially fitting if the person wishes to honor or memorialize multiple individuals. An example would be a membership
for yourself and a membership for someone you wish to memorialize. In that example a membership for yourself would require
a $50 donation and a membership for someone you wish to memorialize would require an additional $50 donation, making the total
donation $100. Persons may wish to memorialize former family members that have been a part of the Winnfield football program,
former teammates, former coaches or other persons.
All membership donations are tax deductible. How do I join?: There are several ways to join, including:
Coach Pyles sent out approximately 500 letters to former players, coaches, administrators, etc. explaining the
formation of the "W" Club. Included in that letter was an envelope whereby that person could return their
membership dues. Persons may mail Coach Andy Pyles their membership dues directly to Winnfield
Senior High School. That address is: P. O. Box 968, Winnfield, LA 71483. Please specify that the donation
is going toward a "W" Club membership and specify the name of the member. Persons may
use the credit card or Pay Pal link on the winnfieldtigerfootball.com web site. When using this means please specify
that the donation is for the "W" Club. Also, remember to specify whether you are joining for yourself or provide
the name of the person(s) you are honoring or memorializing. You may also wish to remain anonymous, which will be honored. If
you have any questions regarding payment via Pay Pal please contact me via edmojenks@aol.com.
- NOTE: The link I have on the navigation bar will show
all of the members that have submitted membership dues to either myself or to Coach Pyles. Thus, if your name appears on the
membership list on this web site or in the game program that indicates you have submitted your membership dues either directly
to Coach Pyles or to this web site. That will allow for cross-accounting of membership dues. Coach Pyles will
keep a master list of members and the amount of donation on file at Winnfield Senior High School.
Do
you have additional questions? Please contact Coach Pyles if you have any questions.
You may contact Coach Pyles or Dr. Jane Griffin at 318-628-3506 or 318-628-2130. Coach Pyles may also be reached through
his email address, which is: apyles@winnpsb.org.
